By my standards, I've managed to keep this blog relatively rant free, however...

Where we live there is a water fountain (see the pictures below of Priory Place)

During the summer months, quite a lot of people decide to use it as a paddling pool... not what it's meant for and the noise can be a pain, but it's not a major problem.

However, I really can't understand parents who sit there and let their kids waddle through it barefoot (There are about 5 in there as I type this)

There are bars around here, so there could be anything in the water - broken glass etc. - wouldn't surprise me if the odd drunken moron urinates in there as well.

Do these people have no sense? Can you imagine what would happen if one of the children walked on some broken glass, or even slipped and cracked their head.

I guess they would then sue the council as there is no sign warning people not to go in the water.

Perhaps that's what they are hoping for?
