Diet Update - Week 1
Well, 1 week in so time for an update.
The diet is going well, I'm not finding it too difficult - just a bit boring.
Breakfast is basically grilled bacon and poached eggs.
Lunch - chicken, ham or tuna and salad.
Dinner - Meat/Fish and Vegetables (generally no sauces)
But.... in the 1st week I have lost 9lbs - so I'm delighted really.
I've suddenly become brave and decided to reveal numbers.
16th April 2007 - 18st 3lbs
23rd April 2007 - 17st 8lbs
My first target weight is 15st, but I'm not setting a date on this.
Once i've acheived this, my next target will be 13st - That is my ideal.

How exciting hun! I am counting on you to kick start me into it!! I am fine on the exercise front so far this summer.. where I can't get to on a bike this spring isn't worth mentioning.. and I have edged down a couple of pounds because of it, but I soooo need to concentrate on food too!
Bravo on the initial weeks work! You couldn't ask for much more than that!!! 9lbs!! Fantastic! I hope that as the weekly losses diminish.. as they are bound to do as you get skinnier! you can stay focussed and positive! I know of all people how hard it can be:)
My advice...
1)think small rather than global... one week at a time! Not how FAR you have to go which can seem an impossible mountain to climb especially on a weeke when you've lost nothing for no good reason!
2) Do exercise as much as you can... it really does help to have a dual pronged approach, but build up gradually!
3) Eat as variedly as possible and never cut out things altogether.
4) snack regularly on LOW fat snakcs through the day to keep up blood sugar levels or you will end up bingeing if you get blood sugar lows!
All these things are easy for me to say I know!
Good luck and KEEP going! you can do it! I will check back regularly! Oh and take a photo of yourself now warts and all and it will encourage you as you go down if you take monthly ones.. you will be able to just see the dramatic changes that you miss as you change every day!
Does swimming count for the exercise part? :)
Thanks for the words :)
