Hooray, hooray, it's a holi holiday.

We've gone holiday mad!

Hot on the heals of our bank holiday break in South Wales (pictures to be posted later today if I pull my finger out) we are going to Greece in October, and have now just booked a short break in Tallinn for next March.

Really excited about the Tallinn one, have wanted to visit there for a couple of years.

I've heard it has been slightly spoilt by the crowds of hen and stag parties now heading over there, but hopefully mid-week in March should be ok on that score!

It will be cold (Probably around Zero C) but i'm fine with that! - DJ is too I hope :)

Oh, and just heard that the car should be delivered in just over 2 weeks! hoorah!

Coventry Sinks! (Briefly)

This was the scene in our car park when I got home from work last Friday.

As I made my way through the city centre, past the magistrates court I suddenly found that I would have been far better off in a boat than the car!

Water was rising above other car's wheel arches, I have never seen anything like it in Coventry.

It was especially bad down on Cox Street under the sports centre.

Then, when I drove into our car park I found one hell of a flood, seems the drains had exploded.

DJ has long claimed Coventry doesn't have a river, apparently the River Sherbourne isn't a proper river. Mind you, he is used to living near the River Severn.

Well, on Friday August 18th 2006 Coventry did have a river! Even if it was only for about 30 minutes.

I'm Back!

After over 18 months, I'm back!

Eager to build on the massive number of 3 postings previously submitted to this blog, cvuk is back to give you even more!

I think rather than attempt to re-cap on what has gone over since my last post, I'll just start as if I never went away......

Things going on in my life at the moment;

Still with DJ, we've been living together for 16 months now...... :-)

I have no car.... sold the Ibiza, and have ordered a new car... but in an incredible moment of bad planning I didn't check how long it would take to order.

So sometime in the next month (hopefully) the new car will arrive, we're both very excited about it though - we're getting a BMW Z4 - If you don't know what one is, here's a pic!




We've also just booked a holiday, finally. For a change we're not going to look at interesting coffee houses, or former communist strongholds - we're going for a week in the sun on the Greek island of Kefalonia.

IF I remember i will keep this blog updated far more frequently, if I forget, do nudge me about it.
