Diet Update - Week 1

Well, 1 week in so time for an update.

The diet is going well, I'm not finding it too difficult - just a bit boring.

Breakfast is basically grilled bacon and poached eggs.

Lunch - chicken, ham or tuna and salad.

Dinner - Meat/Fish and Vegetables (generally no sauces)

But.... in the 1st week I have lost 9lbs - so I'm delighted really.

I've suddenly become brave and decided to reveal numbers.

16th April 2007 - 18st 3lbs
23rd April 2007 - 17st 8lbs

My first target weight is 15st, but I'm not setting a date on this.

Once i've acheived this, my next target will be 13st - That is my ideal.

2007... The year of the diet!

I'm posting this because I'd welcome any encouragement!

I've been unhappy with my weight for some time now - I've now hit a point where for the sake of my health as well as my appearance I really need to so something about it.


This is me now;



The diet i'm following is basically a variation on the atkins.

I'm cutting out most carbohydrates, so that means no bread, no pasta, no potatoes, very little beer!!!! - eek

I will keep posting pictures as I progress

I was going to post what my starting weight is, but bottled out....

Basically I have set a target of losing 5 stone. I haven't set a time limit on this, but I'd like to lose 2 before we go to Sweden in July.
